A small Newcastle firm doing one thing properly: emptying properties quickly, cleanly and legally, and keeping as much as possible out of the ground.
We started in 2014 with one van and a lot of house clearances nobody else wanted. Twelve years on the work is the same, just more of it: houses after a sale or a bereavement, flats between tenants, gardens that got away from people, and offices closing up.
Clearance has a poor reputation and it is usually earned — prices that move on the day, waste fly-tipped on a back lane, no paperwork. We are a registered Environment Agency waste carrier and every load we take is documented. If you ever want to know where your things went, we can tell you.
We also do not think a clearance should feel like a loss. Usable furniture goes to Tyneside reuse charities, metal and appliances to recycling, green waste to composting. Last year 92 per cent of everything we collected was reused or recycled rather than landfilled.
